In today’s market, it is advisable that you have internet with high bandwidth, broadband connections to get the best service for your customs, possible.



When Won’t I Need an Internet Connection?

 

An EPOS system might be a locally connected system. This means that there is no need for any internet connection. If this is the model of solution you have opted for, the tools you use, including the till, barcode scanner, and terminal, for example, will all be connected with each another, as well as with the EPOS server. Once you have all the components of the system working in unison with the server, the server itself can then be connected to the inventory management system (IMS), the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and the accounting software, within a Local Area Network setup.

When Will I Need an Internet Connection?
